Many of us relate miracles to astounding, radical shifts in conditions, often those tat r unexplanable or seemingly divine. True as it is, many fail to realise tat miracles come in smaller packages too. Be it a greater acceptance b/w a pair of constantly quarrelin parent n son, be it a more open attitude of expressing love by a husband, be it a loss of pounds from an obese person thru his hardworkin exercise prgm or be it a newborn healthy baby. Many a times, practical miracles come in more humble appearances n in tis age of increased education, more accessible resources, higher technology, democracy, less discrimination n more open societies, these miracles r possible, wif proper help, guidance n diligent work.

One new idea introduced was the analogy of spiritual algebra. Understanding algebra has to do wif a person's abstract tinkin abilities. As a child, tis ability is "turned on" at a certain stage when he/she reaches a certain level of mental development. There is no obvious signs of tis transition in mental ability. Before tis, a child may find it very difficult to comprehend the notion of algebra n frustration & a loss of faith in his/her own ability may result. Worse, the frustration may cause him/her to believe it is impossible to learn algebra even when the brain finally reaches higher stages. Conversely, teaching a child when he/she has alrdy developed abstract tinkin stage would b more easily done.

The same applies in our so-called spiritual algebra. In the belief of creating practical miracles and lasting changes in our lives, it used to b a big hoo-haa. Many hav been thru tedious journeys, consisting of long research, meditation, seeking help from experts n gurus of various fields n spending incessant amts of time n $. Tat was during those times, when ppl hav still yet to develop their "abstract ability" for creating miracles. Times hav changed. In the past, miraculous results could not b sustained or reproduced, simply b'coz ppl r not ready (or hav not reached the "abstract level" to understand tis "spiritual algebra"). 1 way to understand tis global shift is using the concept of world consciousness. Einstein 1st popularized tis notion when he said tat the new radical ideas tat he took yrs to comprehend would, in later generations, b understood by children. The change in global capability to understand, he explained, begins when 1 person makes a shift toward greater awareness in a new direction. Like a snowball rollin down a hill, an idea whose time has come eventually gathers more n more snow, growing in size exponentially. Likewise, as more ppl increase their understandin, at some pt, the whole world consciousness changes. Hence, what was initially considered radical or impossible in 1 age becomes common sense when the whole world catches on. Tis helps describe the shift tat we hav juz experienced. When heating water, at some pt, it starts boilin n turning to steam. Similarly, society has simmered for the past 2 centuries. Now the water is boiling, n the radical change frm water to steam is occurring. A change in world consciousness allows us to comprehend n feel more. With it, the world is now capable of creating practical miracles.

Oso mentioned was the importance of satisfying n fulfilling the primary needs in each stage in life. The listed primary needs in each stage r those tat r essential for a wholesome development in tat stage. A failure to fully fulfil the need will result in incomplete or premature development of skills, traits, abilities characteristically picked-up in tat stage. For instance, a child whose need for dependence, love n nurturing is not satisfied in childhood would not develop proper abilities to show n accept love, to trust others or be emotionally open. Besides the requirement to fulfil the stage-specific primary needs, we r oso reminded to do a gd balancing act of all our needs in all 9 stages, amidst spending xtra effort on 1. It isn't tough, juz needs a small constant effort. Failure to balance the needs in all 9 stages, one would likely topple them 1-by-1, neglecting some at the expense of others. For instance, the need for career achievement shld not warrant so much attention tat u neglect your other needs for love, communication n intimacy. In short, balanced attention to the needs in all 9 stages, wif added focus on tat one specific to ur current life stage.

One interesting point is an open discussion on religion, 1 of 3 greatest social taboos - politics, sex n religion. As the prose goes, many ppl today hav become bored n disinterested in religion, spirituality, n GOD, simply cos they were not presented a msg tat reflected their new abilitiesn understandings. Ppl who ridicule spiritual pursuit or the notion of GOD, or who hav given up on personal change, r often in some ways more advanced souls. They r analagous to kids who go thru puberty a lil earlier than most. Thou they dun hav long to wait til the others make the shift, they wil stil b veri diff frm their peers n more advanced.If they dun hav peer support while they r more advanced in some ways, they often wil hav more problems. During the last few hundred yrs, a small % of population of the world started making tis shift. These "advanced souls" r great leaders, innovators, inventors, artists, writers, revolutionaries, scientists, n spiritual teachers. Thou they shined brighter, they were reali not much more advanced. In the bigger picture of evolution, when compared to millions of yrs of evolution, 100 yrs is but a blink of the eye.Within a few 100 yrs, the rest of mankind wld catch up n all wld b the same level again.In the past 50 yrs tis shift has occurred for much greater % of the world population. Millions hav gone thru the change. And now, in tis new millennium, billions hav jus made the shift n r ready to use their advanced potential. The more advanced souls were often leftout, mistrusted, isolated, or even burned at the stake of being diff. Ask any girl who is the 1st in her gp to havv her period. Cos she is in the minority, tis new n wondrous change often is associated wif shame, confusion, embarassment, n fear of rejection. In the past, when a soul was ready to create practical miracles n there were no teachers to lead the way, it could b veri disheartening. Such ppl knew something was missing but din know wad it was or where to find it. The traditional religions were stil preaching appropriate msg for the masses but not for them. Using the algebra analogy, spiritual teachers n religious leaders stil were teachin concrete math skills n some souls were now beyond them. It was difficult to find an advanced teacher tat could challenge their new capacity to comprehend life n its mysteries. They need spiritual algebra. They were seekin a higher truth n often turned away frm traditional spirituality coz wad they were told abt GOD was not rite for them.While some went to search for truth in unconventional n unorthodox ways, others juz lost interest.

For a slightly older soul to accept many of the old beliefs being taught abt GOD, it was similar to a teenager being expected to believe tat a chubby santa claus, dressed in red n transported by flyin reindeer, reali comes down the chimney in all homes ard the world in 1 nite n distributes presents to every gd child.
